« Part 1: Initial thoughts Part 2 of My beginning and a workbench series no next part

So I ended up changing my mind and going for something easier. I went to the local hardware store and got three 2×6x10s and cut them in half, used them for the top and aprons. I had two 4×4x8s that I found in the trash that I cut and used for the legs, and then I used to 2×8x5s that were given to me for the bottom shelf.

I put a little box made from plywood off an old pallet on the back to hold some common tools, and put a 1×2 with three washers between it and the bench to make a place to put things like my crowbar and squares. Here it is.

And last but not least, I found another interesting piece in the trash, this crocs seat cushion, which I fashioned to this rotating bar stool that I got for $2.50 at a garage sale. I think it works pretty nice.

My next project is going to be a night stand or coffee table out of some pallets I picked.
