I am a frustrated wood butcher. I work with garage sale tools and free wood mostly skids. Hence the nickname. I keep thinking that there is some wonderful projects in me, my tools, and materials but so far just lots of dissapointment. Hoping you guys can help me get on the right track.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Don’t be so hard on yourself.
Your project page shows some very nice work.
I don’t know what’s the source of your frustration, but I’m sure you shouldn’t quit woodworking.

Another year has rolled by. We must be having too much fun, cause it seems like just yesterday when I congratulated you on 1 year. Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary at Lumber Jocks. Thanks for helping make LJ a great place to visit and happy anniversary!
There is finally some new construction going on around here. That means that I’m back in the dumpster diving hobby again. I was getting pretty low on wood.
