I did professional metal work for 4 years and during the last 2.5 years of that I taught myself woodworking skills and developed my furniture design/fabrication skills. In 2010 I went to Savannah College of Art and Design, studying furniture design for a year and now attending Appalachian State University studying furniture design.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.
To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.
Please enjoy your membership.
