This is one the first people boxes I built. It was for my grandmother. I made it out of beetle killed pine and the lid was Russian oak. I raised the oak so that it created a visual tree trunk. I then drilled holes for each of the branches (for her 7 children) The grandchildren then decorated 4x6 pieces wood. In the end it was truly a family decorated box that I know made my grandmother proud.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
