Just now joining Lumberjocks. It looks like a great site for woodworkers of all calibers. I would say I am a generic caseworker, gun cabinets, built all my own kitchen cabinets, etc. I look forward to more woodworking time now that I am an official 'empty-nester". The nickname comes from spending 30 yrs as a USAF pilot. Was very fortunate to be able to build the shop of my dreams at my dream house. It is a 30×40 two story with the top all devoted to woodworking, small "man cave office" and a dedicated finishing room; the basement area is storage nightmare with everything else you could imagine.

Updated some interior pictures. More as motivation to me to get on the schtick and get organized. Based on some of the shops I've seen I have a long way to go. But plans are to move the radial arm saw to the 'Deer wall and incorporate a miter saw station and lots of cabinets. Also turning the table saw 90deg CCW. More to follow . . .

Hi Zoomie,

Looks like a great shop. You could get into a lot of trouble out there!

Zoomie - Welcome to Lumberjocks. Looks like a very nice space for developing a shop. You are about where I was ten years ago and I am still going on mine. I put in a detailed description of my shop that you may want to tap for some ideas. Lord knows, most of them were the result of how not to do some things. Again, Welcome!!
