Project Information

My version of the "Mission Impossible" illusion cutting board that many fellow Lumberjocks have made. Thanks for the inspiration.

I did make a few minor changes to the normal production process. Photos might be better than words.

African Paudauk with a Hard Maple filling…


Cut at 60 degrees twice…


Insert some cherry triangles and use a 60 degree jig to glue up the four pieces…




Slice the sausages. Arrange the pieces properly and complete one final glue-up.

Be a beauty! I do not,,,DO NOT, let my wife see the cutting boards that are posted on this sight! Any of you cutting board artist, could make some money on a cutting board design and how to book… seriously!

Great board. Thanks for the easy to follow pictorial instruction. Could be a few of these end up under Christmas trees.
