Great!!!. I am peeling logs to make a log railing for my home. I need 200 pickets. With this I can cut them to a bit more than length and peel them much easier I think. I am going to give it a try, thanks. Doug

this is a Sam Maloof style cherry rocker, for some reason the only pic I could find has my Granddaughter about to sit in it.. that's Starry and she is Papa's girl.// she owns me and knows it.. haha!

Papa, you do some really good work, real nice stuff. Those rocking chairs are beautiful, as well as the twisted oak legs. Lot of nice hand work.
Did you make the two seat bench behind "Papa's girl" in the first photo?
As a side note: I know what you mean by the statement "she owns you", I've got 4 "masters" that get whatever they want from me.

Nice work there Papa. I was trying to shave soem maple logs Sandy kindly deposited on my driveway for a mallet head and your shaving horse is just the ticket. Stashed away in the faves file for a future build.

And yes I also have four of them… they all have their way with Papa, but she is the only girl and the youngest so of course she has me the worst.. she comes through the door and says "Papaaaaaaaa" and that's it,,, she can have anything she wants.. haha ..but now a days that is my job.. making her happy… and I love my work..Papa
