I work out of my basement for now. It is not very big or organized, but I do ok with it. Mostly I do turnings, small bowls lots of pens and some pepper mills. I mostly have tabletop tools with the exception of a Jet 14" bandsaw and a Jet 1236 lathe. The lathe is getting ready to grow up to a 1642 EVS2 within the next few weeks. I have a 1014 Jet vs as well and have spent a lot of time on it. Anyway thanks for letting me hang out and learn from the wealth of knowledge at this site. I will also post one picture of the view out the back door of my shop, I like it a lot,, it is a millpond.

This is certainly a nice shop space that you have put together. It looks like you have utlized the space that you have pretty well and you have ample room to maneuver around in there. Your shop looks like it is well organized and, with the wood slats on the wall, you can hang cabinetry easily.

You have a nice set of tools to play with as well. I have yet to add a lathe to my shop but it is pretty high on my list. I am sure I am missing out on a lot of fun by not having one to play with.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Great view of your shop and your scenery!

I don't know how I would get any work done if I had something like that out my back door… :)
