Project Information

The second one in the Halloween series of Hot Rod Freaky Fords is an Orange and Black '32 Ford Deuce Coupe. This color scheme really works well for the hot rods. However, I don't think I will be using this particular paint again. It took a lot of pain to get a good orange color. Since I like to sand between coats and I live in a very humid climate painting takes a day for each coat of paint. Usually I get buy with two coats but not this paint. There are at least six coats of orange paint on these. The paint is Behr interior acrylic I ordered directly from their website and had it shipped to my Home Depot.

Great paint job. Too bad it takes so many coats to make the orange look good.
