Project Information

I painted this toy car with a coat of rattle can automotive primer, Behr Oops house paint from Home Depot and a top coat of Rust-Oleum Triple Thick Glaze. I found the Rust-Oleum, Triple Thick Glaze difficult to apply and had to sand and respray it way to many times. However, if you want a glossy finish this stuff will do the trick. when it works it looks like glass.

The Oops paint I sprayed with an air brush. Wheels, exhaust and hubs are all done with a brush with acrylic craft paint and shellac.

It sure is. I love it. It can be a lot harder than it it looks on the surface. Everyone of them is different.
