I was looking for simple, durable, easy to construct wooden toys to add to our inventory for the upcoming holiday season when I saw a picture of something similar to this online. Hmm, I thought, that looks like the sort of toy I'm looking for. A few minutes with a sketch pad and voila! Poplar and Baltic Birch Ply used in construction. Radiator cap and exhaust are .22" diameter axle pins, driver and 1 3/4" wooden wheels were purchased.
The bulldozer I was building last year had about 30 pieces in it. This one has 17.
