Project Information

Made these wooden notebooks and filmed my first woodworking video for my new Youtube. Looking to make more in the future. Video Link Below

KevBotWorkshop - Wooden Notebook Build

Notebooks were assembled like small cutting boards, book matched, finished with Arm R Seal Satin.

Pupleheart and Yellowheart in the first
Walnut, Yellowheart, and Maple in the second
Padauk, Maple, and Gen Mahogany in the third.

Super easy and cheap project can be completed in a day .

Guessing you bought notebooks, took the covers off and replaced them with these?

Those are really cool.

Great idea and outstanding execution. Very classy - now you need a wooden briefcase to hold them. Thanks for posting.

Had to run out to the shop and grab my caliper to measure. Roughly .175 inches thick or 4.45mm. 1/5 of an inch. So thin but not terribly thin. You probably could go a little thinner with a drum sander. May run the risk of curling
Looks nice. How thick is the wood?
