Project Information

It's been a while since I last posted, but I wanted to share this with you all. I did this wood burning because I have always loved wolves. You may be aware of the Special Interest Publication connected with the Woodcarving Magazine from Fox Chapel Publishing. I did an artical for this magazine using these wolves to show how to turn a photo into a pattern. This photo is courtesy of Monty Sloan, who is a photographer at Wolf Park, in Battle Ground, Indiana…www.wolfpark.org. You can purchase this All Woodburning magazine at stands at the end of March or by going to Fox Chapels website. Those of you who do woodburning will find this a very informative magazine.
Thanks for looking…Blessings, Danette

Thank you all for your kind words. The birch bark I burned around the edges gives it the depth and 3D feel. I wish you all could "feel" the texture that comes with burning on wood. Pat knows what I mean…she is also very talented at burning.

Woodburning is also known as Pyrography now, so if you did a "google" search on that you would be surprised at what you find.

Stay tuned for more coming up, Blessings, Danette
