Another wine bottle holder design. This one is bloodwood and wenge , the others are purpleheart and yellowheart, bloodwood,walnut and maple, and I agree they make great gifts.

Which leads me to a question: Is the 35 degree angle, the angle of the hole, or the angle of the base? Whichever one it is, then what is the other angle?
I started making these in 1966, I always used 45 degrees as the cut and the hole. I can get a small base one (3/4" X 3") to hold a bottle absolutely horizontal. I have one with a turned ourline that I have to finish. it's just a prototype, I'll post when completed.
