Woodworkers Journal just featured this simple wine rack so I thought they would make great gifts. I made some minor changes and used some western red cedar I've been milling up. It's soft, easy to work and has great character. I didn't have time to deal with any finish nightmares I've been having so I used a lacquer sanding sealer and gloss lacquer finish. I've grown partial to keyhole style hangers so I installed a couple on each.
