Well, you build workshops pretty darn well. I especially like the overhead light panels and the horizontal wall sheeting.
That quote reminds of one from the Workshop Book.

wow,now i could have some fun in there.that is one nice clean work shop.i gotta ask though why are all your outlets under the benches and do you plan on adding drawers.also any plans for running air lines and dust collection,just throwing out some ideas for you,with a clean slate its the time to plan all these things.you gotta post more pics when this is done.nice job so far.

I haven't gotten that far just yet. The plan calls for 4" ducts to run the perimeter of the wall just above the height of those light fixtures. That's the second reason they are extended out a bit so that they can accomdate the pipe.

The outlets are going to be set into the backslpashes of the benches but that's also a project toward the end bc I want some flexibility to move the backsplashes when I go to sand/stain the butcher block tops.

For air handling I have the entire ceiling open and I really need to figure out what that's going to look like. All great suggestions though and thanks for the input!

Yes, that's a typical tongue and groove pattern. If you want the exact species just shoot me a message and I'll look it up.

It gives the space a nice showroom feel to it. No offense to many of those who use standard OSB for walls (the price justifies that) but when I finish my walls I cannot see using it personally. I don't want to finish drywall either so I had thought about using plywood and painting it white but I like this idea for accent areas. Thanks for sharing!

cool looking shop.

The recessed miter saw, router table, and planer did not go unnoticed to my eye. Very nice setup. I particularly like the more design oriented feel to the space.

Kinda looks like the wide open prairie. I haven't seen that much horizontal space in a long time. Nothing underneath yet, so plenty of room for storage as you amass tools and other for the shop.

Is that HUGE table a monster slab flattening set up? I see the parallel metal arms? If so you could do an entire post on just that.

Don't see any bigger stationary equipment, anything off screen?
