Project Information
Buddy needed a small table and I had a scrap piece of oak barn wood and some 8/4 sapele scraps. When I ran the oak through the jointer i realized it was white oak, and it was fairly quartersawn/riftsawn. Super simple design, wedged through tenons that I cut with a plug cutter, and two small bow ties to mend a crack. I roughed the leg tapers on a bandsaw and then cleaned them up across the jointer. Finished with shellac, and a thin coat of pastewax on the top.
