Project Information

Wood And Materials Used
Maple & walnut
Location
Central Arkansas
A few years back when Doria was swirling in the sea, I found a piece of walnut with grain that looks like a outer space view of a hurricane. I used the piece for a top to a finger jointed box I made of maple with a walnut inlay. Walnut was finished with Tru Oil, maple with wipe-on poly, both waxed with clear Briwax. Dimensions are 11"L x 5 1/2"W x 3 1/2"T We keep a sea shell and a sand dollar in it.
