Really got to cut this in strips, turn them on edge to expose the end grain and glue it back together if you are going to use it as a cutting board. Otherwise you will be cutting across the wood fibers and eventually you will be slicing off chucks of wood. Looks like you have a thick enough slab to still do that.

I like the cove on the bottom as a lifting aid , and the almost invisible joint. I like to use mineral oil and Beeswax on my boards. : ) Keep on building !!

Hi Bob,

This is what that was the leftover cutting box from.

I was getting a haircut and this was in the waiting room.


I don't have a lathe, so changed the legs.
