Some times ago I bought old brass chandeliers and many spares for its. My wife asked to me to make two brass sconces , but I decided to make wooden base and four sconces with greene and greene accents. I decided to make four bases and four sconces , as well to add strap details . The detailed description of the making strap details contains in the Darrel Pearts book " In the Greene and Greene style" (p.59-72)

I used sapele and ebony plugs. Finishing is red mahagony gel stain, oil and beeswax.
