Project Information

This walking stick/cane is carved from a piece of Sassafras. The hand piece at the top is carved from a piece of Curly Maple. The hand piece at the top and a little exposed wood at the bottom are dyed orange. The hand piece and the stick are joined using a tenon and mortise joint and glue- very strong. I carved and painted this "hitch-hiker" entirely by hand. This carving is for sale in my Etsy shop if interested. Feel free to contact me with any questions :)

Josh,

Not sure, why you don't have more comments and views. Your are a heck of an Artist/craftsman. I Know post a shop jig! With a sprint carved into it? Excellent as always!
