This is a very unique rifle stock. The customer shipped me his walnut and elm lumber to use for the blank. Its the first stock I've carved from elm and I like the grain that shows in the laminates very much. The only Laminated elm stocks I've seen were made for Mauser 98 rifles when walnut gunstock wood was in very short supply. This stock has been sanded to 120 grit and the customer will fit it to his rifle and do the final sanding and finishing.
