Workshop Information

United States
This is the current (Jan. 2016) workshop setup with the tooling listed below. I'm blogging about the evolution of the space, tools, and complexity of my work as time passes.

Power tools:
Craftsman table saw with built in joiner
Dewalt planer with mobile base
Ryobi miter saw with craftsman stand
Ryobi bandsaw
Ryobi drill press
Ryobi router table
Craftsman disc/belt sander
Portercable circular saw
Portercable jigsaw
Dewalt plunge router combo
Black and decker power drill
Skil hand sander

Random mix of hand tools along with my prized rosewood and brass double marking gauge, handsaws, straight edges, clamps and a single hand plane (yet to be wholly honed). I have also begun seeking older hand tools to round out my capabilities to "dial in" tenons, mortises, and the like and I've purposefully chosen to avoid doing any dovetailing as I just don't prefer the aesthetics of how the joint fits with fine furniture.
