Project Information

My first conversion bunkbed project. Made with pine and some douglas fir, all main frame boards were cut from 2×6 lumber with lots and lots of mortise/tenon joints, safety rails were 3/4" pine, top mattress supports were 2×3 boards up on edge and spaced approx. 10" apart. The table top was 3/4" cabinet grade red oak with solid wood trim as was the bench cushion support surface without the trim. My clients are "staunch" "BAMA CRIMSON TIDE" fans so we did a custom mix oil-based crimson red stain and sprayed it on. My client is doing her own "BAMA" designed cushions, so will get pics of the bed totally setup when she's done. I really enjoyed building this unique type of bed. The design was modified from one foung on the internet.

Do the legs of the table fold up so the table can collapse?

Thanks for all the nice comments, been abit hard to build projects working under a 3 car carport, sometimes weather trys to spoil things. MacB - yes the legs collapse under the table.
