Nice clean, contemporary lines. It looks strong too, with the 2-back boards to really hold everything square. Are the shelves plywood, banded/framed with hardwood?

construction was 2×19mm mdf veenered oak to give 38mm thickness, with a25mm x 38mm soild oak edgeing, with soild oak 18mm rebated back supports, and 2of 12mm x 120mm metal dowel rod concealed fixings, at open ends of shelves

Very nice. I live near Lansing, MI where everything is Michigan State with a big S logo on everything, and that shelf would go over big around here. I might have to make a smaller version for a Christmas present. Thanks for sharing.
