Project Information

I made a "pharmacy" gnome for my daughter to have when she worked at a pharmacy in college. Her friends liked it and one requested a trucker gnome, since he worked for a trucking company. I didn't think hew was serious, but he has mentioned it since then, so this is what I made for him as a gift. I had to think a bit on what might distinguish it as a truck driver and decided he had to have the iconic chrome mud-flap girl, a decorative element on many trucks!. I added the cowboy boots, since he is in Texas, and gave him a dangling cigarette. The recipient was quite excited! Thanks for looking!

I've got about 4 hours carving in it, but I don't keep a real accurate count!

This guy definitely has some personality! He looks a lot like my uncle, cigarette and all. Seems like it'd be tough to drive truck without arms though….
