I have recently moved and the shop moved with me. I was lucky enough to find a house with a walkout, unfinished basement. I am now extremely blessed to have a 1400+ sq. ft. shop to work in. Currently getting everything set up so pictures will come at some point.

I have to agree with 8iowa, Jeff. You certainly have a nice shop in which to work. It is well organized and you have made pretty effective use of the space that you have available.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Well glad you guys like it. I tried to utilize every inch of the place…but I could always do more. The bandsaw is a Rikon 14" deluxe. I chose the saw for its smaller size but still having a 13" resaw…love the thing so far. It really isn't that tall….the basement has low ceiling:) I had upgraded from a Grizzly 14" deluxe…which is now at my parents house.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Great collection of tools in a tidy shop. Looks like you've got everything you need. The level of your projects suggest you have everything you need as well, including a great imagination.

Nice shop, Triumph. Someday, when I grow up, I'll graduate to a real bandsaw like that…good to see the air filter!

Jeff, I noticed the small pedestal (platform) in the first picture. Do you suffer from cold floors as I do?

Martyn..luckily cold floors are not a problem in the basement. It is an old house and I have hot water heat so the basement is actually the warmest in winter since all the hot water pipes going to the radiators are running through it:) The platform was to raise me up in front of the lathe. I am almost 6' tall but I still felt like the lathe was still too high on the cabinet. I actually need to lower it just a bit.
