Okay, here we go. Basically this is the half of the garage I get. The guy that owned the house before me had an interesting take on home improvement (who plants 6 globe willows on a 1/4 acre lot?!), so some of the stuff is left over scrap from him, but I made the most of it on the budget I had. My goal this year is build out a bench, tool cabinets and add lighting and dust collection. Ultimately I want this to be able to house two cars and still be a working shop - simply back the car out and work on the project.

Here you can see some of the stuff I have already done. The table saw cabinet is mobile and made of plywood left over and found. The shelf also. The first permanent fixture is the wood storage shelf that the compressor is sitting on. It is open on the end to slide in sheet goods and such.

This gives you a better view of the wood storage and how I designed it. Everything is off the floor but slides in nice so I don't have to worry about it falling on a parked car.

Okay last picture I have. This shows the end where I build some quick wall cabinets for storage. Also shows the pull out workbench that I made. I copied the design from an issue of "Wood" magazine. Nice, but I hate the casters I used. Like everything I like to do it twice (sarcasm), so I will probably rebuild everything here.

You've made a good start but the trick is to stay with it. Just add a little here and a little there and before you know it you'll have a wonderful shop. Welcome to Lumberjocks.
