I have never claimed to be an innovator. When I saw something with great idea and design I don't mind copying it. About 20 days ago Jim Jakosh posted what I considered as a cute idea for a TP holder. I have a small board of poplar laying around in my shop so I decided to use that and make a Jim Jakosh TP holder.
The handle was made of half of a $1.50 3" drawer pull or should I say $0.75 half a drawer pull
. It was finished with Minwax water based American Walnut stain and then 3 clear coats of Polycrylic. I haven't decided what to do with it yet as my wife said it does not fit the decor of our house/bathroom. I may give it away as a gag birthday gift to a friend or I just keep it. On other hand since I have a spare handle I may just make another one!
