Project Information

Just finished up the latest commission for the Children's Museum.

All buildings and the twin bridge towers come apart so the kids can build and mix and match. The bridge towers are held to the bases by a pair of 1/2" rare earth magnets buried from the underside of the base. The bases are screwed to the table so the kids can't get at the magnets. Washers are epoxied into the bottom of each post.

Everything is maple stained with Folk Art Ultra Dye and finished with deft clear lacquer.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks folks.
Here's a link to the dye I found Ultra Dye

They are much more vibrant than the food coloring I was using, they are designed for wood and fabric, and come in many colors.
