Project Information

Another copy of the tower crane from Wood Magazine #185. A buddy of mine started this for his grandson, but then got sick and wasn't able to finish it. So I did. It's built pretty much according to the plans, except using bolts instead of wooden pins for the axles. I also turned the wheels and other little parts myself rather than getting the hardware kit suggested in the magazine. Finished with five coats of polyurethane applied according to the recipe in The Wood Whisperer's A Simple Varnish Finish DVD.
