Tote / caddy
for the allotment kitchen.

This is a tote, were made out of need in the beginning of the summer, as I were tired of bringing food from my gas fridge, into the kitchen in my wee allotment house, because I found my self running forward and backward several times.

You can read more in the blog: https://www.lumberjocks.com/mafe/blog/131872

Pictures:
1. The tote.
2. Glue up.
3. Out in the sun.
4. Wood nails.
5. Tight shave.
6. Finally in the kitchen.

Hope it can be to some inspiration, who knows, perhaps less running…

MaFe

As solid as it is built, it should hold a heavy weight and last forever. Great job !!! Mel

Looks like a very handy tool, Mads! I think I will need to make one for us here before next summer. We should eat on our veranda more often when the weather is nice, but it's so many trips to carry everything. With a tote it would just be one or two trips.

You can tell a lot about a man by the tote he builds:)

Handy and very nice job. I should of known food would be involved somehow.
It will sure say a lot of extra trips.

That's great. I like that you pegged the handle in through the endgrain, most would have done it through the side, but your approach is just as strong and less showy.
