Beautiful, Keith. Totara? Is that a tree, or the style of the bowl. I've never heard the term. It looks a little like Ficus from all the way over here on the other side of the planet.

Really like this bowl. did you burn in the black rings? I like that detail.

Petey….the rings were burnt in using a wire and high speed friction.

Ivan….we so lucky in this country to have so many different native timbers available to us.
