Workshop Information

Location
United States
My workshop is a detached building behind my house. The former owners used it as an office but it has since been repurposed into a woodshop. I ripped the carpet out, built some cabinets and a miter station. I took out a large section of wall and replaced it with metal double doors that I built. I cherish my time out here.

Most of my stationary tools are Jet. I have a few Craftsman hand-me-downs and some Dewalt, Delta, Hitachi and Bosch tools also. My bandsaw is a Grizzly. I have a cheap Skil miter saw that was one of the first power tools I ever purchased. I keep waiting for it to give up so that I can replace it but, it keeps on running like a champ.

Ben, I have to agree that this is a pretty nice looking shop that you have. It looks like you are using the space efficiently and have it organized well. You also have a nice collection of tools to play with.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Looks well laid out, interesting mix of tools… Looks like you forgot to mention the HF lathe. (Hey it's the JWL1236 clone, that's a decent lathe!)

Thanks guys. That is the cleanest it has been in a long time so I figured I better snap some pics quickly. Dbhost, good eye on the lathe. It is not the best tool in my shop but for the price it was hard to beat.
