Workshop Information

United States
Thanks to my wife I've been gradually building a nice workshop (I fell in love with woodworking in high school but didnt have the time/money til my mid-thirties to return to it).

My 1st purchase was a 50" Jet table saw. It has been a great workhorse. I've added a 24" table extension, and mounted a Port Cable plunge router so I have a nice work area for both tools. I also have a little Ryobi router for small stuff.

Next was a Jet 6" jointer (another great too), and a Delta belt/6" disc sander.

Then I bought a Jet 1100 dust collector because I was getting the garage so dirty (the wife supported that idea!).

Then came the Northern Tool 16 speed drill press (got sick of not being able to drill perfectly perpendicular holes with my Firestorm cordless drill!).

And then the 12" Jet Bandsaw (wish now I had bought a bigger one!!)

I recently added a Dewalt 735 13" planer with 4' infeed and outfeed tables (for working with long stock); a
Performax oscillating spindle sander, and a Tool Shop 12" compound mitre saw.

Hi Todd,

Your shop sounds interesting but I will agree with Gary's comment about the pictures.

Hi Todd,

You have a nice shop in which to work and a nice set of tools to play with. I really like what you have done with your planer and table saw. You really improved their functionality.

Thanks for the shop tour. I have enjoyed visiting with you.
