Lookin good Jon Nice and easy.

I cut the tong part for about 50 of them need to cut the bridge part.

My wife has already given 9 away.

Jon Post a picture in my project of your tongs and also add a link to your project. We were trying to get a copy of everyones pictures in my project also, so we can see all of the variations.

Karson,

I took a long 1×1" strip of maple and tapered the sides, then just trimmed off blocks of it as needed with a stop block on the xcut sled. I'm sure you could turn these out in quick batches that way.

How did the Danish Oil Finish work out in the heat of the toaster? I'm getting ready to finish some tongs and don't want a flame out. ;-)

It worked quite well. Iit will eventually wear off, so you have to renew it. They're never really hot long enough to do any serious damage.
