SawZ-All likes. Put some teeth on there and it could double as a back scratcher.

That's very clever. I think I'll see what I can find in my scrap pile. Thanks for posting this.

Our late beloved Oscomer made some turned oven rack pullers. I received one from him as a gift.

Yours are very nice and the turned one give an additional challenge.

I think he used the oven at Sears to take the picture.

Clever and simple! I didn't know I needed one till I saw yours. Now add a magnet to it and attach it to the stove or fridge to keep it handy and out of the way.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The oven is not new, we just moved into this house about 3 months ago, the house itself is about 3 or 4 years old. Previous owners didn't cook much. haha

Thats great for pulling the rack out but you still need mitts to lift the hot cover of a roasting pan :)

Very true John, for now ;) haha Sounds like a good woodworking project for this weekend. However convincing my wife to let me test it out on her baking dishes might present a challenge…

Welcome to LJ! I was wondering about the pie pan without a mitt, but I suppose one could make a pizza peel ;-))
