Project Information

Wall cabinet to store CD's and DVD's. Made from found wood, stained and painted.
Named it "Thirty-Two" after the number scrawled in lumber crayon on the back of one of the boards on the door. Initial visual is that it might be a chest of drawers - I like that illusion.
I am particularly drawn to old boards and rusty metal - as the saying goes "Imperfect is more interesting"

I really love this wall cabinet. Nice design … truly a functional objet d'art.

It hints at being like a 3D Rothko Collage. Beautiful!

Outstanding piece…. would look really great in my condo. Great use of color and shapes and I would much rather have this striking piece than any of the stuff you can buy at the fine furniture stores.

I really like this! Folk artish yet contemporary. Love the colors and it does look like drawers. I also really like the use of the various nails for aesthetic purposed. A nice illusion overall- and it seems like something I might be able t build out of pallet wood? Care to give up the dimensions?

Here are the dimensions: 11 1/2" wide, 41" high, 7" deep (6"inside to allow for CD's & DVD's)
Often the sizes of the found and recycled wood will dictate the size I build.

Now this looks like some wild Memphis stuff! I really like the surprise of it being a solid door. Looks great!
