Ah, my own little slice of Heaven . . . The Bronze Oak Leaf shop. Nestled in a nice little patch of woods with nary a neighbor closer than a good stone's throw away, I get my kicks from cutting my own trees and hauling them to the closest sawmill. I don't have enough lumber to last forever, but at the rate I work, it should last a good long while. I love being able to point to a piece of furniture and tell you what tree it came from.
I've now completely re-made my shop three times, going from a garage to a comfy, cozy, well heated woodshop where I can turn up the radio, tune in my thoughts, and concentrate on whatever tickles my fancy that day.
Visit my blog to read about some of the goings-on at the shop, and to see what kind of mischief a true novice can get into.
