Project Information

I bought one of Rockler's Dust Right® Floor Sweep Systems … it helps a lot in cleaning up the shop, but I found that when vacuuming the anti-fatigue mats in my shop, the suction would pull the Dust Right® handle clean off the tube.

A few scraps or pine, a few minutes at the band saw, and a little glue … problem solved!

I kicked my dustrite to the curb for the same reason - I will have to dust it off and do what you did!

Great idea. That is thinking on your feet. I have the same setup and will make a handle for mine. I have been trying to figure a way to make a brush sweep for fine cleaning the floor. The Rockler system just has the plastic that runs over the floor to get the dust…but i always use my Ridgid shop vac afterwards because the brush bristles do a better job of fine cleaning…Rockler, Are You Listening?????

Great idea. I just got off the phone with Rockler discussing this very issue. The lady says she don't know of any issues they are having with it. Her suggestion was to put masking tape to make it fit better. I ask her why does it fit every thing else but the floor tube and she couldn't answer. Then I searched it here and found your fix.
thanks.
