Project Information

I always wanted to try to do a portrait so this is it. First time using spiral blades also. Used a FD NS #1 on Baltic birch. Took a while to figure out the right combo with the spiral. Came to this conclusion. High tension, Slow feed rate and high speed. Also notice better control if I just keep my fingers on top of the material. Just a rookies observation. Should have taken the picture before putting it in the frame so i wouldn't have a reflection. Needed to get it done for tomorrow. Giving it for a fundraiser for a friend with cancer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Chris

Excellant capture! I tried a scroll saw capture of my grandson, at a smaller scale, so I know the work you put into this.
