Project Information

Awhile back Monte posted a basic stool which I liked so I made a couple for my shop and several others after seeing them ordered some for their homes.
These sets are 23.5" and 29" high and both sets have seats which are 20.5" x 11.25".
Both are red cedar finished with waterbased Minwax satin Helmsman poly.
Also thanks to all you LJ's and your beautiful, inspiring projects!

Thanks everyone, siavosh I made a sled for my table saw for all but the back curve which I did with a right angle grinder and a random orbit sander.

Great job! The cedar is beautiful and the matching sapwood stripe through all the seats makes them a matched set.

How did you attach the crosspieces?

These look great in ERC as well as BKP. Like Andy, I really like the stripe of sapwood.

The crosspieces are joined with glue and screws than plugged with cedar plugs
