Project Information

I used to make my tenons with a dado, but since I've got this sawstop, I've been trying to find other ways to do things so that I don't have to change the cartridge to install the dado. I saw plans for a tenoning jig similar to this some where, if it was on here, I'm sorry I can't credit the original maker.

I put a little protec wax on the inside of this and it slides quite well down the fence. I put the supports on the back to help hold the tall fence vertical, but also gives me somewhere to put my hands so they are well out of the way.
