Project Information

After the emabarrassment I felt from putting a half-baked project on the site I decided to tear out the cabinets and build carcus' so that the drawers moved smoothly and the cabinet was more stabile. I will be putting the formica in this week after I finish the upper cabinet. I learned my lessons from the lower cabinets; just build square carcuses and shim where needed. Thanks for making me do better work.

Yes, the pole is going to be replaced with gas struts. I use it now because with my little brain I can only work with 14 projects at one time :) I have added a few pictures so that I can better illustrate what I am working with.

MUCH better… Now for the $64,000.00 question as it were…

What's with the metal pole? Does it move out of the way so you can open the drawers?

The drawers look like they line up a lot better. Glad you took the time to square up the frame work. It's really looking good. Keep up the good work.
