Project Information

This is a fairly simple set of three tea Light holders I made from a pattern I found in a book. The woodworking is pretty straight forward and I was able to use splines for the first time. The wood was red oak and maple for the splines. The hardest part was cutting the holes for the candles. The large forstner bit I used kept biting into the wood and snapping the scrollsaw work. It took me a few tries to get it right.

Nice candle holders! If you had to do it over again, would you drill the holes first, then do the scrollsaw work? I like the addition of the splines too.
