Project Information

This is my 4th ever woodworking project. I built this 2 years ago and it's still holding strong. Im thinking about making a new one now that I have a planer and jointer. I researched other workbenches and tried to incorporate all the features i liked into one.

That is really great. I assume it's not your purpose, but that could be loaded onto a trailer, brought to a job site and serve it very well. I'm sure it will serve you well. It's a pretty complete work station. Nice job!

Exactly what I was thinking about! I have seen so many great setups and was thinking through how to combine it all. Nice work Revhard!

nice workstation, I particularly like the flip top miter saw feature. I did something similar to mount my planer on the end of my TS extension table and it has been really handy.

That is a great idea and looks really useful. It's like the chimera of woodworking equipment.

Very nice. I bet a lot of work takes place in that small work space.

I'm just getting ready to start a similiar project, and have been studying many other benches to figure out what I'll incorporate. I love your interpretation here. Any chance we can get more details? Pictures of it being built, plans, etc?

here's a screenshot of my sketchup. It was the first time using the program. I didn't take pics of the build cus I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I wired 2 electrical boxes in the front and back. The one in the back is controlled by a 3 way switch where the dust collection , router, and tablesaw are plugged into. The miter saw is a dewalt 20 volt. Ill attach pics later.

Very nice work bench. I am planning to build one similar to this. I'm just curious on how you made the flip top miter saw.

Revhard, I was hoping to pick your brain on a couple elements of this. It's a killer idea, well executed! Thank you for sharing it.

Do you have some pictures of how the miter flip mechanism works?
How did you set up the dust collection system? Shopvac inside the table?
And would you be willing to share the actual Sketchup files?

Thanks again, great work!
