Project Information

Tablecloth clips, made of solid beech wood, 85×25x18mm, no finish. Clips were designed for 10mm thick table.First, 16mm hole drilled on drillpress, other cuts made on bandsaw, lot of sanding on disc sander, oscillating spindle sander and belt sander. Finaly, edges rounded on router table with 2mm curved radius bit. Last two photos are test models, later changed a little.

Lucky you didn't mention the number you made… I'd hate to learn to count… again!

Is is robust enough to not split at the bend or did you only need to but made so many because of breakiage?

10mm tabletop… hmm! If someone drops some crumbs and makes it 11mm… is it back to the workshop or do you just omit using the white table cloth (the missus tells me, black is more slimming... and only has to be washed twice a year)?

LBD the numer was odered and design ws tested and mafe to last. Regarding table thickness deviations, there is enough room to accomodate
