Project Information

This was a fun project. A friend of mine had triplets and this is her baby shower gift. This project is built out of one sheet of plywood with plenty left over. The chairs were purchased from schooldays.com. I used pocket screws for the apron and reinforced the joint with a 45. The legs are made out of two pieces of 3/4 plywood 27 inches long with a 45 on one side and reinforced with a spline glued in. The legs were attached to the apron using glue and screws. The table is 48" × 30" × 28"ish. The overall dimensions of the leg is 27 inches, the taper begins 9 inches down then tapers to the base of the leg at 2 inches wide. The table top is 1 1/8 inch thick. I got the measurement by gluing and screwing two sheets of plywood, one 3/4 and one 1/2. It is stained with Minwax Jacobean and finished off with two coats of Minwax poly urethane clear satin.

Great looking table from a sheet of plywood. Nice gift. I think the little ones care less about the table, they want some food.

Great idea, im sure this comes in very very handy come feeding time. Its hard enough to keep one baby safe and secure and the floor clear around him. This would help all around. You can start thinking of ways now to modify it when they grow out of it in a year or two ;)

What a wonderful idea for feeding three! It's doubtful, however, if your idea will ever get mass-produced with odds being 1 in 8100 of having triplets! LOL

Best wishes to the parents!

pure genius. Nicely done. And think of all the meal-time photo ops this will allow for?

that website you list is not working for me. I did find www.schoolsin.com with the same seats.

looks like "school sin" moreso than "school's in"

that table is awesome. I'm building it.

Well I can assume you friend will really appreciate it.

Not much chance of them having any time for woodwork with that lot to look after

Very good work and a excellent gesture as well.

Great looking kids however looks like trouble times three for a while!!

Don't loose any more fingers!
