Project Information

This striped goblet was turned 16 years ago. ( please ignore the date on the picture ) Yesterday, I brought down from a high shelf and re-polished it and decided to show it to you as a project from the past. It was made of 36 pieces of light and darck maple. The rising shaft is hard wood and the little ball is plywood. Another 36 pieces were cut from the main part to surround the base for dicoration. It stands 255mm tall.
16 years on, and it is still one of my favorite.

Sam, That is nice. I really like the the stripes on the base going opposite of the cup. Great interest, so this tell me 16 yrs ago you were a master as well.

Glad to see a post and know your doing well.

I can see why this is one of your favorites. The size makes this one impressive. Nice use of color too.

Hey Sam, why keep this hidden us all this time, and we thought you were a just starting. Only joking Sam, you have been a master a long time.

It was not hidden, Bob, kind of "out of sight out of mind".
