Project Information
This is a baseball bed that was completed in November 2011. It is one of my sports theme beds that has been modified a little with a little bit of a special edition. We special ordered bats form Louisville slugger that has the child's name on them. The scoreboard has a little more attention to it. We built it out of solid ash, to match the bat, and had the scoreboard info engraved in it. A set of six drawers under the bed provided a little extra storage. I've also put trundles under there.
The finish was just a clear to keep look of the bat. We highlighted the recesses in the headboard with black paint.
